At Samara Learning Center, we cater to individuals with Learning Disabilities, ADHD, high functioning Autism, Anxiety, School Phobia, and Trauma. When public school fails to meet the needs of your student (even though IEP's or 504's are in place), Samara Learning Center is happy to evaluate its' ability to fortify your child. Like you, we want them to flourish academically and socially. We provide a calm environment, patient instructors and strength based vocabulary.
WHO WE SERVE
2023-2024 SERVICES

Individual and Small Group Tutoring
Samara Learning Center takes pride in adapting to the needs of both neurotypical and neurodivergent students. Our tutors help students to "soar with their strengths."
Small Group tutoring occurs September 2023-June 2024 from 4:00 pm-5:30 pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. On Wednesdays, tutoring is from 2:30-5:30 pm to accommodate early release. Students receive guidance with their homework. Families benefit financially from the small group setting we offer. Scholarships are available.
Individual tutoring is available four days a week with Learning Specialist, Special Education Tutors, or General Education Tutors. Sessions are 1-2 times a week, Monday-Thursday. Each slot is for an hour beginning at 12:30 pm- 6:30 pm.
Achievement Camp:
Keep Your Child's Learning On Track
(Summer)
Summer is a time for kids to relax and have fun, but it's also important to keep their minds active. Achievement Camp is a great way to do both.
Students review core academic subjects in a fun and engaging way while using problem-solving and critical thinking. This helps to prevent summer learning loss and prepares students for the next school year. They also develop their executive functioning skills which include planning, organizing, managing their time, and completing tasks.
Further, students flex their creative muscles by participating in art, music, and projects that allow them to express themselves.
Enrichment Programs
Each season, Samara provides a variety of Enrichment Classes. These programs are designed to help kids learn new skills, explore their interests, and have fun.
Registration is through Bend Parks and Recreation. Find the Playbook here.
